Terms of service
Last updated: October 29, 2026
1. Who runs this
NextInvite (nextinvite.app, “the service”) is operated by [Operator legal name — fill in src/lib/legal.ts]. For anything on this page, email hello@nextinvite.app.
2. What $14.95 CAD buys
A one-time fee of $14.95 CAD covers one event. That event includes:
- Unlimited guest list for the event.
- One automatic reminder, on the date you choose, sent only to guests who said Yes.
- Live RSVP dashboard with Yes / No / comments and CSV export.
- Unlimited AI-generated artwork for your event.
- Bounce detection on every outgoing email, surfaced in the dashboard as Sent, Delivered, Delayed, Bounced, or Complained.
Your event data is kept for 1 year from the date you create your event.
3. Payment, taxes, refunds
Prices are in CAD. One payment per event, no subscription, no auto-renew. You only pay when you create an event. Taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.
Refund policy
You can get a full refund any time before your invitations have been sent. Once invitations have been sent, the event fee is not refundable.
4. Renewal is manual
Access does not renew automatically. There is no subscription. If you want to keep your event data past the 1-year mark, you make a new $14.95 CAD payment yourself. Thirty days before your data is scheduled to expire, we email you with three options: renew for $14.95 CAD, download your guest list + responses + images as CSV (free), or let the data retire (free).
5. Using the service responsibly
- You confirm you have permission to email the people on your guest list.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the email addresses you provide, and for the content of any message you send through NextInvite.
- Do not use NextInvite for solicitation, mass marketing, phishing, or any message not related to the event you created.
- Do not attempt to probe, scrape, or disrupt the service, or evade bounce / unsubscribe handling.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules and refund any unused event fee in line with Section 3.
6. Service is provided as-is
NextInvite is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do our best to keep the service running and your data safe, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every email will be delivered by every recipient’s mail provider.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, to the extent allowed by applicable law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [Province — fill in src/lib/legal.ts], Canada, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the service will be resolved in the courts of that province.
8. Changes to these terms
If we materially change these terms, we will bump the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated terms for events created from that date onward.
